MISSION

Our Purpose

At Yonga Ma Group, our mission is to deliver high-quality plant hire, project management, and civil support services while creating meaningful pathways for Indigenous training, development, and employment.

We combine professional capability with purpose, ensuring every project is managed with safety, precision, and cultural integrity. Our approach connects industry performance with community growth, empowering Indigenous people through real opportunities for learning and leadership.

By working together, we’re building more than strong projects, we’re building a sustainable future for the next generation.

“Yonga Ma” is derived from the Noongar language, meaning “Kangaroo Paw.”

The Kangaroo Paw (Anigozanthos manglesii) is a native Western Australian plant known for its vibrant red and green flowers and distinctive, paw-shaped blooms. It holds deep cultural and natural significance, recognised as the floral emblem of Western Australia since 1960.

For the Noongar people, the Kangaroo Paw is more than a flower; its tuberous roots were traditionally used as a food source, and it symbolises strength, resilience, and connection to Country. The plant’s ability to thrive through fire and drought reflects the enduring spirit that inspires our work and values at Yonga Ma Group
